JUSTICE: Student Conference

Date: Saturday 7 March 2020

Time: 9:30-16:30

Location: The International Dispute Resolution Centre, 70 Fleet Street, London EC4Y 1EU

Tickets for the annual JUSTICE Student Conference are on sale now!

The conference will provide the opportunity to learn about some of the legal challenges JUSTICE will be addressing in the year ahead. It will consist of exciting and thought-provoking workshops on upcoming projects focussing on the benefits system, the family justice system, and magistrates’ courts. There will also be the opportunity to hear from a panel of junior lawyers about their experience of the legal profession and receive invaluable advice on how to navigate your own career path.

This year’s keynote address will be given by Tessa Khan. Tessa is an international human rights and climate change lawyer and Co-Director of the Climate Litigation Network (CLN), a project of the Urgenda Foundation.

The JUSTICE team will also host a clinical session on dissertation topics. This will give you the chance to receive feedback from our lawyers on your ideas for dissertation topics.

You can become a member of JUSTICE and attend the event for only £20. Alternatively, you can attend the event without joining as a member for £15.
