The Strathclyde Centre for Environmental Law and Governance (SCELG) operates as a hub for excellence in PhD and postgraduate teaching programmes in environmental law and governance within the University of Strathclyde Law School in Glasgow.
One of the Centre’s activities is the organisation of an annual Post Graduate Colloquium on Environmental Law and Governance. This year marks the fourth edition of the Colloquium.
The IV SCELG PG Colloquium on Environmental Law and Governance will take place on Thursday 09 June 2016. The Colloquium provides an opportunity for Post Docs, Ph.D., MPhil and LLM students engaged in research in any area of environmental law and governance to present and discuss their work, or a part of it, in a supportive environment. It also provides an opportunity for environmental research students in general (who may not be presenting) to meet and network with other peers and experts working in this area of law.
The complete call for abstracts(deadline 01 March 2015) is available here.
Participants are also encouraged to stay on to attend the Climate and Sustainability Project Workshop taking place on Friday 10 June 2016.
