The Dundee University Bar Society is hosting a lecture by Donald Finlay Q.C.

The Dundee University Bar Society is hosting a lecture by Donald Finlay Q.C. of MacKinnon Advocates as he is our honorary president. Along with his speech as honorary president, he shall be discussing many elements of modern advocacy. After his speech, the Society will be hosting a reception where you can ask Donald Finlay any questions you would have about advocacy, as well as have some wine and potentially light snacks.

This lecture will be hosted in Dalhousie Lecture Theatre 2 Thursday 22nd September and the reception following will be in Dalhousie’s Foyer area.

This event is free with no ticket required, however we have a limited number of seating (around 120) so it is first come first served in that regard. The lecture shall begin at 7pm, with the reception following, with the event completely wrapped up by 9pm.

Optionally, you can display your interest on Facebook here- https://www.facebook.com/events/1278825332142710/ and you can invite your fellow students to spread awareness of this excellent event!

Absolutely everyone is welcome from the Law School and beyond to attend- we hope to see you all there!
